JEFF THALER FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Starting the company in hopes of improving food security & safety for everyone, Jeff has 9 years experience designing and building aquaponics and vertical growing systems.

Prior to Lettuce Tree Farms, he helped build aquaponics gardens in Honduras and received a degree in Agricultural Business and Applied Economics from The Ohio State University.

You can find him any day of the week, at the main farm site or at our Slavic Village garden, working to advance our farming and community development goals.

SYLVIA TAYLOR FARM MANAGER

Joining Lettuce Tree Farms in late 2019 with many years farming experience under her belt, Sylvia has been the key to the perfection that is LTF microgreens.

Since rising to the position of farm manager in 2020 she has helped to improve quality and growing efficiency within LTF’s microgreens farm.

From managing client orders, plant care, and staff assignments, she is the backbone of our daily operations.

MARC BEHAR FOUNDING PARTNER

Providing pivotal management, planning, and technological expertise at a time when the future was very uncertain, Marc helped guide LTF through our initial production and design phases.

While taking a step back from day to day management in 2020, he continues to provide valuable consulting and technical assistance to the present.
